The Premium Human Resources Event in Poland – Kongres Kadry

veritahr.com 1 tydzień temu

There are several Human Resources organizations in Poland today. HR Influencers, Polskie Stowarzyszenia Zarzadzanie Kadramy (PSZK), or Polskie Stowarzyszenie HR to name a few. When it comes to events though, there is a much larger selection of events. That’s why we wanted to focus on the premium human resources event in Poland, known as Kongres Kadry.

Years ago, when Verita HR was still a ‘startup’, we collaborated with a company called Nowoczesna Firma or nf.pl. At the time nf.pl was very involved in the HR space. The team there issued a HR Compendium, organized HR summits, but more importantly, they were the driving force behind Kongres Kadry.

The Legacy of Kongres Kadry

This year Kongres Kadry continues its story. It is now the 40th edition of the event which happens twice a year, usually in Warsaw. In 2007 the event was only on its 6th edition which shows the longevity of the initiative. The most recent events have been overseen by a new CEO. Monika Nowacka-Sahin is the CEO of StronaKadry.pl, the company behind Kongres Kadry. Prior to stepping up to the role of CEO, Monika was the Marketing Event Manager at Nowoczesna Firma. From 2006. She has seen a lot of change in the HR market in Poland.

Today Monika is an advocate of the concept of “meet” to facilitate “grow”. According to the Strona Kadry website Monika states how “for relations to have a chance to flourish, there is a need to meet. HR professionals know this very well. That is why for many years we have been supporting the Polish HR industry in having an opportunity to meet. We organize conferences, workshops and other initiatives. We focus on development that is tangible, and on networking that creates value and is based on knowledge.”

Who are the Speakers at the next Kongres Kadry?

The next Kongres Kadry takes place on the 21st and 22nd of October, in Warsaw. One of the keynote speakers is Andrzej Borczyk. Over the years Andrzej has been the HR Director of Microsoft, Heineken and several other companies. He also represents HR Influencers, one of the leading HR organizations in Poland.

Another speaker is the Head of HR at ING Bank in Poland, Maja Chabinska-Rossakowska. ING Bank is one of the most decorated employers in Poland today. The bank has amassed awards like Poland’s Best Employers, Best Social Media Campaign, ESG recognition and recognition of championing diversity to name a few.

Representing PSZK is Dr. Natalia Dernowska-Zaczyk. Natalia is an expert in HR Business partnering. She has conducted thorough research into the challenges and change that HR Business partners face today.

The schedule of the event starts with Monika Nowacka-Sahin welcoming guests on the 21st of October. The theme of the event is ‘Work, from Cult to Culture’. Topics that speakers will be discussing focus on digital transformation, the organizational culture of Netflix, and empathy in leadership, for instance. There will be plenty of coffee and lunch breaks over the two days too.

Delegates include HR professionals, HR suppliers, recruiters, payroll specialists, and people involved in company culture. Ticket prices can vary so make sure you choose the right group to get the best price. Tickets are separately priced for HR representatives, suppliers and partners of the Speakers. In short, anybody loosely involved in the wider human resources space in Poland should attend. The event includes some English language content due to one of the keynote speakers.
